What?
Interzone nullarbor is a combined demoparty and game development competition. It is an event designed to bring together a community of programmers, designers, artists and musicians. Whats happening?
Interzone nullarbor 2007 is a three day event.
  • Friday, 30th March
    09:00 (9:00 am) - Start, doors open. Competitors will be able to test their entries on the competition machines and have the opportunity to meet industry people.
  • Friday, 30th March
    17:00 (5:00 pm) - Final Deadline for all entries
  • Saturday, 31st March
    09:00 (9:00 am) - Day 2. Doors open for the public, all entries available for the public.
  • Saturday, 31st March
    17:00 (5:00 pm) - Close of Day 2.
  • Sunday, 1st April
    09:00 (9:00 am) - Day 3. Doors open for the public.
  • Sunday, 1st April
    13:00 (1:00 pm) - Nullarbor Screening (GO3: Main Stage)
  • Sunday, 1st April
    14:00 (2:00 pm) - Voting Closes.
  • Sunday, 1st April
    15:00 (3:00 pm) - Nullarbor Awards Presentation Ceremony (GO3: Main Stage)

Friday is open only to accepted competitors entries: This provides an opportunity to partake in the Industry part of GO3 as well as the opportunity to test and tweak your submissions.
Saturday and Sunday are open to the general public, where you will be able to play games, watch the demos and animations, view the pictures and listen to the music that have been submitted.
You will be able to submit your votes throughout the event, but voting closes on Sunday at 2:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded on Sunday at 3:00 pm.

Distribution
All entries will be hosted on http://scene.org/, providing access for local content to a worldwide audience! Efforts will be made to distribute the content in as many local channels as possible including DVD releases and festivals.
Submission Deadline?
The submission deadline for entries into nullarbor is 17:00, WEDNESDAY, 28th March. Each entry must be accompanied by contact and entry information, a screenshot (800x600 - music excepted), a video (2 min - music and graphics excepted), and delivered as a single file (zip, or installable exe for demos and games, mp3 or avi or png for music, animation and graphics respectively).
Cost?
nullarbor competitors that register before MIDNIGHT, THURSDAY, 22nd March, become eligable for a special GO3 nullarbor competitors ticket allowing entry for all three days of the event and the GO3 expo for $15. ($18 if adult).
If you are unable to come to nullarbor there is no cost for entering.
